How I can help
Three ways to start.
Your first carbon baseline
Find out where your emissions come from today. I'll pull your energy, fuel and utility data into a clear starting baseline (Scope 1 and 2, plus the Scope 3 items that matter most for you), so you know where you stand and what to tackle first.
Green certification readiness
Thinking about Green Key, Travelife or a similar program? I'll help you understand what it asks for, find the gaps, and get your policies and evidence organized before you apply. The certifying program makes the final call. My job is getting you ready.
Planner questionnaire help
Meeting planners and corporate buyers often include sustainability questions in RFPs and venue questionnaires. I'll help your team gather honest answers and the info to back them up, so you can respond quickly and confidently.
Every project starts small and clearly scoped. Let's talk about what fits.
Why Sustaining Alive?
Las Vegas runs on great experiences. I want them to last.
I'm Scott Bradford: 20+ years Las Vegas travel industry + clean energy advocate.
- My clean-energy advocacy includes CEVRA, the Clean Energy Vehicle Recreation Association (cevra.org), which works to bring clean energy vehicles into recreation.
- I built 4 Good Clean Fun (4goodcleanfun.com), which helps visitors find electric, zero-emission tours.
Sustaining Alive brings my travel and clean-energy work together: helping the hotels and events that make this city fun do it with less waste and better numbers. I'm not a big consulting firm, and I don't do greenwashing. I'll tell you plainly what's working, what isn't, and what to do next.
Measuring is the start. Progress is the goal. You don't have to change everything overnight, just get on the path and make steady progress. Sustainable also means a profitable business!
Sustaining Alive is independent and isn't affiliated with or endorsed by Green Key, Travelife or any certification program. I don't issue certifications.
